Long-term stability requires more than charity.
In Mozambique, the preschool supported by Sharing Hope Africa opens its doors each day because of generosity from outside donors (thank you!).
Right now, the school relies heavily on outside funding to operate. That model works — but it leaves the school vulnerable to fluctuations in donations. When support shifts, education becomes uncertain.
We believe there is a better way – and it involves chickens, eggs, and a whole lotta hope.

Sharing Hope Africa, Inc. is committed to supporting community driven development initiatives through grassroot, locally-based partnerships for sustainable long-term solutions in rural Southern Africa.
The Challenge
Today, 700 million people around the world are living in extreme poverty. Many programs are inadvertently fostering dependency through short-term relief, rather than empowering individuals to be self-sufficient. When someone is empowered, it changes their life – and has the power to change their community.

When communities ask for support, we answer the call. We work together to revitalize previously abandoned or struggling aid programs. Together, we transform them into self-sustaining ventures.

Chicks for Change
Equip & Empower
To help Sharing Hope Preschool become community-funded and stable long-term, we’re building a chicken coop. Eggs will be sold within the village, jobs will be created locally, and 33% of the preschool’s expenses will be funded by the profits.

Eduacte & Empower
In rural Mozambique, Sharing Hope Preschool provides vulnerable children under the age of 6 with access to education, clean water, daily meals, and any medicine needed. Every sponsored scholarship is an investment in their future – and the community.

Equip & Empower
Our Harvesting Hope Partner Farm in Eswatini is at a pivotal point in the business: they need a tractor. This investment would enable them to increase crop yields, save money on renting equipment, and provide a new income stream.
