Our Story
Founded in 2020, Sharing Hope Africa, Inc. has been working in close collaboration with local organizations to further the goal of empowering communities in Licilo, Mozambique and Siteki, Eswatini. We focus on amplifying the mission and vision of our partners, supporting ongoing efforts and projects to increase access to education and employment opportunities – like those at Sharing Hope Preschool and Farm. Our dedicated team collaborates with local leaders to transform short-term contributions into lasting impact, holding the shared belief that real change comes through partnership and education.

Our History
Sharing Hope Africa, Inc. was founded in 2021 to empower and support communities in Licilo, Mozambique and Siteki, Eswatini.
In 2020, the Sharing Hope Africa (SHA) team formed with the goal to advocate for and amplify the mission of a grassroots, African-led organization called Sharing Hope, based in the Kingdom of Eswatini. The vision was (and still is) pretty simple – support rural communities that lack access to fundamental resources. Invest in projects, initiatives, and businesses – led by locals – to ensure sustainable development, rather than a reliance on donations.
The Eswatini based NGO Sharing Hope was able to accomplish an incredible amount over the course of a decade through collaboration and partnership with other nonprofits; they opened the Sharing Hope Preschool, providing 100+ children with quality education, nutritious meals, and much-needed health care each year. This project led to the installation of boreholes (water wells), which has provided 850+ individuals with access to clean water in Mozambique. In 2013, through generous donations and strategic nonprofit partnerships they were able to start a farm in the Lubombo Valley region of Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland).
The Eswatini based Sharing Hope organization has overcome many challenges, navigating natural disasters, a global pandemic, the dissolution of a meaningful nonprofit partnerships, and so much more. Sharing Hope Africa, Inc. is ready to work tirelessly to support and empower individuals, communities, and organizations in southern Africa through meaningful partnerships. We have learned a lot about effectively supporting the community and how to turn short-term donations into long-term change. We have an operational team based in the United States and Europe that works closely with our team on the ground in Mozambique and Eswatini; by listening to and working with local community leaders, we are able to better serve and empower them.
We believe that solutions for long-term change lie in partnership; equipping, educating, and empowering others is the best way to help communities in need.
